December

Well, everything here is going great. Brandon is amazing us each and everyday with what he can do and the new things he learns. This week he has mastered waving. Anytime anyone says HI or BYE he waves. It's so stinking cute. He loves to blow kisses and also claps anytime anyone says yay, or if anyone else claps.

We got his first conference form back from daycare. They had LOTS of great things to say about him. Here are a few of the nice things they said...
-Brandon is very comfortable interacting with new people and new situations.
-He enjoys being around and playing with other children.
-He is developing the realization that familiar objets can be used in conventional ways.
-Continues to develop the ability to pull himself to standing.

and many more.

Brandon has for sure gotten down the pulling himself to standing thing by now. He pulls himself up on EVERYTHING. The couch, the chairs, the rocker, the stairs, tv trays.... Lots of things he isn't supposed to but we are working on letting him know which items are ok and which are not safe.

He crawls around very quick now. Sometimes it amazes me how fast he can follow us to another room or get into something he shouldn't be. We definitely have our hands full now. We have to literally watch him every second.

We are planning a trip to Aberdeen next week to visit all of our family in SD. I hope we can see everyone with this short trip. At this point we are hoping the weather is going to be good enough for us to travel in so we can get there safely and not have to cancel yet another trip. We will celebrate Christmas there and then come home and work a bit and then celebrate Christmas here as well with Grandma and Grandpa D.

I guess that's all for now. We are headed to the mall of america once again today to finish up some Christmas shopping and to have some lunch. Brandon loves strolling in his stroller at the mall and watching all the things go by.

We are very excited for Brandon to celebrate his first Christmas. We will for sure post lots of pictures of him opening his gifts up later on. We hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas.

Thanksgiving

Well, we were supposed to make it to Aberdeen for Thanksgiving this year, and like many other years, the weather kept us home. We were very sad to not be able to see Grandma and Grandpa Sandmeier and Uncle Andy, Aunt Lynn and new cousin Atlas. Instead we stayed home and made our own Thanksgiving dinner ourselves for the first time. We did a Beer Butt Chicken instead of a turkey and we had a Green Bean Casserole, Stuffing and Mashed Potatoes. Then I made a Strawberry/Blueberry Crisp for dessert. All was very good.

Brandon is changing soooo much just in the past few days. He is crawling up on his knees now, as you can see from the video at the top of the blog. He has just learned how to Blow Kisses (although he wont do this all the time quite yet) He can somewhat wave goodbye too. He has figured out how to pull himself to standing on pretty much anything. Including the stairs.. He figured out how to crawl up to the second step so far. OMG... So we will be going to buy some safety gates this next coming weekend.

He now has 6 teeth and one more that is about to poke through on the top. That will make 4 on top and 3 on bottom. You would think this would widen his food choices but sadly no. He is sticking to what he likes and that's it so far. He still has a problem with food textures so he wont eat too many finger foods. So far his favorites are the gerber wagon wheels, or gerber lil cheddar puffs (kinda like Cheetos, but healthier). He loves most kinds of crackers, and also LOVES Laughing Cow triangles of Light Swiss cheese. Tonight I gave him some corn flakes and he seemed to like those as well. Anything that is slippery or slimy he wont eat yet. So cut up fruits and veggies are pretty much out.

We are getting very excited for Brandon's first Christmas. We did put the tree up this weekend and so far he hasn't bothered it one bit. So we'll see how long that lasts.

Jason and I are doing pretty good as well. Jason is just getting over having strep throat, so it's probably a good thing that we stayed home from Aberdeen. We wouldn't want to get anyone else sick. So far Brandon and I have not gotten it. Thank God.

That's all for now, I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and we'll see ya later

First Halloween

Our little TIgger on his first Halloween. He did such a good job in his costume. He didn't even mind having it on. We took a trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa Drangstveit and also Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Drangstveit too to show B off in his costume. It was a fun time.

Minnehaha Falls

We have really been enjoying Minnehaha Falls this summer and fall a lot. We have been going there at least twice a month I would say. They have a wonderful little restaurant there named Sea Salt. They serve very fresh fish and all types of seafood. It is very good. We like to take strolls along the paths and check out the Falls too. Lately the Falls have been very rapid. Kinda cool to see.

Last week we went there and the Fall colors were SOOO beautiful we went back this week to take some fall pictures. Unfortunately most of the trees had lost their leaves in just a week, but we found this really pretty orange tree to take some fun pictures by.

B even got to swing at the playground for his first time. He really enjoyed it.

We have been battling this cough for the past week that Brandon has had. I don't think it's anything too serious. He is still sleeping well and eating pretty good too so we aren't too concerned yet. Hopefully it goes away soon though. Now I think I caught it too as I have had a sore throat this week too. But the lady at daycare says it is definitely going around so, I guess there isn't too much we can do about it.

That's about all for now. Will post again soon.

Way too long....

I am so sorry it's been so long since I have updated this. We have been busy I guess.

Well B is 8.5 months old now. He is getting to be so big. I can't believe it. He has mastered the 'army crawl' all around the place now. Now we really gotta watch him. He really likes to Pull up the cords along the wall for the surround sound and he loves to go up to the fireplace and scratch the screen. We tell him no but he is having a hard time understanding that one still.

He has now also gotten his top two front teeth.

We also had an addition to the family too... Brandons new cousin Atlas was born on September 7th. He was 8 lbs and 11 oz I think. Andy and Lynn are very excited and are wonderful parents.

We got to take a trip to SD and meet little Atlas. It was a really good time.

I guess that's all for now. I will post some updated pictures when I get some more time. Love you all.. Thanks for reading.

First Tooth

So B got his first two front teeth today. Well probably over night. We had a rough night last night, he was so unhappy, now we know why. All night and today he has had a super stuffed up and runny nose. I figured he was getting sick. But then today Jason noticed the two front teeth sticking out. ha ha.. they are soooo cute. So that explains a lot. He has been napping a ton today in between, sucking the snot out of his nose today. But whatever makes him feel better. We are ok with. I hope he starts feeling better soon.

We also got B's 6 month pictures done last week. They turned out SO SO cute. We ordered some cute ones, and we should get them back by next weekend I think.

We are very excited for Stephanie and Marks wedding next week, we can't wait to see the whole family for a few days. Should be good fun.

B has also mastered sitting up on his own now. he is so good at it. Just a tiny bit tippy still but thats mostly cuz he gets excited while hes sitting up and waves his arms and legs all around which sometimes makes him fall..

That's all for now. I will post some pictures when I get some more time.

It's been a while since I have posted anything.. we must be busier than I realize. This picture is B in his new Booster Seat. He is sitting up like such a big boy and eating his veggies. So far he LOVES carrots, squash and avocado the best. We are gonna start some fruit maybe this or next week. So we'll see how that goes. I'm sure he will love it.

We truly are blessed with such a good boy. B is happy most of the time. He is such a joy to be around. The teachers at daycare sure think so too. I think he has a great time while he is there.

We are getting excited for our trip to the cabin in a few weeks. B and I are gonna go for almost a week we are thinking. This will be the first time Uncle Matt and Aunt Lindsey get to meet their godson. I am so excited for them to get to know each other.

B is rolling over like crazy now. Every-time we put him on his back he rolls to his tummy almost immediately. He even is almost able to sit up on his own. He kinda still leans forward quite a bit but he is getting the hang of sitting up straight. We practice everyday. He also is really starting to figure out how moving his tongue around in his mouth makes different noises when he talks.. He is so close to saying dada. he says dee dee a lot. It's pretty great.

We went to the Minnesota Zoo for the first time last week with Jessie, Trevor and Alivia. B's first trip to the zoo. He was super smiley the whole time. It did get kinda hot so we had to get going but I took him out a few times and tried to get him to look at the animals. So many of the animals are blended in to the background that I dont know how much he actually saw. But thats ok.

Not much else is new here for the moment. We will post again maybe after our Golf Outing weekend at the Cabin. Until then..

5 Months Old

So B is 5 months old today. He is getting pretty good at rolling over. We put him on his back for just a few minutes now and he rolls over to his side for a while then eventually gets to his tummy. It is pretty cute.

We had a busy weekend having Uncle Andy and Aunt Lynn's Baby Shower/BBQ. There was a lot of people there who hadn't seen Brandon yet so it was kinda fun for them to see him. But, of course it was not about that.. It was about Andy and Lynn. I think they both had a great time. They got lots of fun gifts. Hopefully that gets them more set for there little boy to arrive in September.

Not too much else is going on. Brandon has been such a good boy. (not that he normally isn't) But it is so fun to see him smiling all the time. We are hoping to take him to the Underwater world at the Mall of America maybe in the next few weeks. He is really into checking out all his surroundings so I think he would really enjoy looking at all the fish.

For now I guess that's all. B is getting sleepy now so I better go give him a bedtime bottle. Ta ta for now

Trip to the Falls

Today we took a trip to Minneapolis and went to the Minnehaha Falls. It was a perfect day for it. It was about 72 degrees out and partly cloudy. We had so much fun walking around with Brandon and watching the falls. We took some cute pictures too.

Holding my own bottle

Brandon is starting to hold up his own bottle. He is getting better and better each day at doing it on his own. What a big boy.

Lots has changed in the past few weeks, Sorry it's been a while since I updated the blog. So We had his 4 month appointment a few weeks ago. He is almost 15lbs which is in the 52 percentile, so he is right on track with weight. and his height was in the 62 percentile.. So hopefully he will be a tall boy.. we'll see. Everything else was great at his appointment. He got a few more shots but he does so good. He didn't even cry.

We started feeding him Rice cereal now. Somedays he does really good at it and somedays not so much. But that's ok. We know it will take a while to get used to eating solids. We are thinking we will start some veggies next month maybe.

Today we went shopping and got B a new Jumperoo. It is so cute and he seemed to like it. He can barley touch the ground when he is in it but he is close.

That's all for now I guess. Will post more when we can find the time. Bye bye

Big Boy

See how good I can hold my head up now. Man a lot has changed in the past few weeks. Brandon is getting stronger and stronger each day. He has rolled over about 3 or 4 times now and is starting to get really good at it.

Pics of florida

Dad and his new boat!

Vacation

Well, Jason and I went on vacation last week. We went down to Cape Coral, Florida with my mom and dad and Matt and Lindsey. We had a great time. Brandon spent the week in South Dakota with Grandma and Grandpa S. They had a blast having him there. We missed him so so much but really enjoyed our vacation.

My dad's friend owns a house down in Cape Coral, So we were all able to stay there in the house for the week, We went out on my dad's new boat 3 days in a row and had a blast. Got lots of sun and had lots of fun.

Now that we are home we are having a lot of fun with B. He actally rolled over two days ago for the first time, from his belly to his back. I tried so hard to get it on camera, but everytime I hit record he wouldnt do it. Then the one time I didn't record it .. he did it. He hasn't done it yet again but we are working on it.

B has also been very fussy the last few days.. We think he is teething already. I was hoping it would hold off a few more months but it appears it has started. He is starting to drool like crazy, he chews on his fists and fingers and is very fussy. Poor guy.. Well he is waking up now so i better go.. Love you all

PS Congrats to the Cavanaugh's , they had their baby girl yesterday, Alivia Ann. She is precious.!!

Dress Up week

This week at Daycare it was Dress Up week. This is a picture of him on 50's day. He had on his Blue Suede Shoes.. ha ha. I didn't get pictures of the other days. The next day was Tropical day, and he had on a little onsie with Palm Trees and Dune Buggies on it. Then the next day was Pajama Day. He of course had on his PJ's.

11 weeks old now

Well Brandon is now 11 weeks old and changing so much everyday. It is so fun to play with him. He LOVES his bouncy seat, it has little hanging animals from it and he has now figured out if he punches his fists forward he can hit the animals and make them swing back and forth. It makes him smile so big. he is just sort of starting to notice his hands more too. Every once and a while he will punch his fists upwards then notice his hand and just stare at it for a min or so. Its cute.

We had a great weekend. Uncle Andy and Aunt Lynn came to town so Brandon and I got to go out to lunch with the family on saturday. Then on sunday morning we all had breakfast at Grandma D's. Brandon is noramlly such a good boy but was a bit fussy at Grandmas on sunday. Uncle Andy and Aunt Lynn both got a chance to hold B again. However, he started crying too quickly, which made them hand him over. ha ha.. It takes a lot of time to get used to calming a crying baby.

Jason is out Fishing this morning with his buddy Steve. It is supposed to rain today so hopefully they dont get rained on.

Today is also the Twins Home Opener. We are gonna sit back and enjoy some Baseball this afernoon. We can't wait till the day we can go see the new Twins Field and see a game outdoors.

I went through B's Clothes the other day, he is growing out of everything so quickly. He is now wearing still some 0-3 month stuff but now he fits also into his 3-6 month stuff. It is fun to have a new choice of wardrob though every 3 or so months.

We are really looking forward to our Florida vacation in 3 weeks. We are headed to Ft. Myers with my parents and Matt and Lindsey. It is gonna be so fun. I am a bit nervous to leave B for about a week but I know Grandma S is VERY excited for him to spend some time in Aberdeen with them. So Jason and I plan on starting to Tan this week so we can be all ready to go. Can't wait.

Well I think that's about all for now. Talk to you all later..

First Day at Daycare

Brandon had his first day at Daycare yesterday. It was VERY hard to drop him off there but they said he was a very good boy all day. He napped a few times, ate, played with his new teachers, and even did an art project. Jason picked him up yesterday so I haven't seen the Art project yet. They are gonna hang it on the wall there for a while then we can take it home. It is somehting with his foot prints. I just about cried when i heard he made an art project.

He is going again today, for only about 5 or so hours today, so not as long as yesterday. THen he gets to spend the evening with Daddy at home while I go off to work again.

This pic is a picture that daycare took of him, His first day at daycare.

Thats all for now.

Easter Bunny

So we were taking Brandon to see the Easter Bunny at the mall today but we changed our mind when we saw that it is 15 dollars for ONE 4x6 picture. I thought that price was so dumb that we said no way. So here is a picture of Brandon with his little Easter Bunny that Great Grandma Mattern got for him.

Sunday, March 28, 2010

Well we had another playdate this weekend, and it was so much fun. There were 8 boys there all together, 4 all around 3 years old and 4 all between 2 months and 6 months. It was a good time for all the older boys to play together and the moms to all chat and catch up. It was over at my friend Jessie's house, and we had a brunch to go along with it. It was a really fun time.

Well this is the dreaded week that I have to go back to work. I go back on Wednesday, and I am already looking forward to them maybe letting me leave a few hours early. Since that will be Brandon's first day at day care as well. I know he will be fine but I will just miss him so much.

Tomorrow (hopefuly) If Brandon is in a good mood we are planning on taking him to the Mall of America to visit the Easter Bunny. We figured Monday will hopefully be a good day that wont be too busy there. Hopefully we wont even have to wait in line. We'll see. I will post some pictures after we get it done, as long as all goes as planned.

Not much else is new here. I will post more pictues! Love you all

I finally figured out how to post a video on here.. I am still playing around with the video features on our apple so there is more to come.. but for now.. enjoy our first video.

2 month Doctors appointment

So we had Brandon's Doctor appointment on monday. All is great with our healthy little boy. He is now 11lbs 6 oz which they say is in the 43 percentile (which means 43 percent of kids his age weight the same or less, all others weight more) so he is still a bit little but not too bad at all. He is just about 2 feet long too. which is like in the 60 some percentile, so he is tall and skinny. Hopefully he stays that way. ha ha..

We have been going for walks all week long cuz it has been so nice outside. I timed it today and it was a 35 min walk. Not to shabby. Brandon loves getting outside.

So I go back to work next week, on the 31st. I am not looking forward to it but once I get back into the swing of things I'm sure it wont be bad.

Thats all for now. I have some videos I wanna post but I need to figure out how to do it first. Jason will probably have to show me.

See Ya

2 Months Old

Well, Brandon is just about 2 months old now. He is getting to be such a big boy. He is already outgrown all his Newborn clothes. How sad.

He is still smiling like crazy. He smiles all day long. He is getting much better at sleeping all of a sudden. Last night acutally he went to bed at 10:30 and didnt wake up to eat until 4:30 am. then I put him back down to sleep at 5:15am and he didnt get up till 8am again. That was so nice.

It has been pretty nice out here the past few days so yesterday Brandon and I took our first outdoor walk down the block and back. He loved riding in his stroller. He didn't even fall asleep. He just looked all around the whole time.

Last night we even went over to the Cavanaugh's (Brandon and I did, Jason had to wokr) and we celebrated a little St. Patricks Day there with them. We had dinner, and Brandon was in such a good mood. Trevor was able to hold Brandon for about 10 min. He loved it. (both of them).

That's about all for now. Brandon has his 2 month doctors appointment next monday and he will be getting more shots at that appointment. Other than that, we are just enjoying this time we have at home cuz I have to go back to work on march 31st. So brandon will start daycare then.

Ta Ta for now

Six Weeks Old

So tomorrow (thursday) Brandon will be six weeks old. Man o man how time flys. He is becoming such a big boy. We are finally somewhat starting to get on more of a schedule around here. I dont feel quite as overwelmed as I did the first few weeks.

Brandon has started smiling this week, he did it one day and the next day he did it almost everytime we smiled at him. Now he loves smiling. He is cooing too.. although most of the time his coo is saying AHHH really loud.. ha ha.. i say oooohh to him and he mimicks my mouth shape some of the time and sometimes even says ooohh too. Its Precious.

He is pretty good at holding his head up but still a bit wobbly. We like to put him on his tummy for a little bit each day so that he can get used to holding his head up. He hasnt quite got the hang of it though. He does way better when we sit him up in a sitting positing.

He is eating up to 3oz a time now every 2-3 hours now. He is getting better at sleeping too. He now sleeps normally around 3-3.5 hours at a time. However he still has a few spells where he likes to wake up every 20 min or so and talk. I have figured out I just turn the monitor off and go back to sleep cuz sometimes he just wakes up and coos and ahhh's in his crib for an hour. So I let him talk away to his little Einstein Aquariam that is hooked to his crib. Maybe he is making friends with the Fish in there. ha ha.. who knows.

I had my six week appointment today. All went pretty good. The doc says man you can't even tell you had a baby...! I said >> HA HA HA YA RIGHT! ha ha.. I am down 30lbs now.. so that is good. Still my clothes are pretty tight, but the doc gave me the go ahead on working out. So in my last issue of Fit Pregnancy Magazine it showed me about 5 different exersises to do every other day to shape up and fit in to my jeans again. So I started taht today too. The only bad part about my doc appointment today is they did some x-rays on my Bottom because I still have a ton of pain there. They found out When Brandon Pushed (or ripped) his way through the Birth Canal his Big head broke my tailbone. ha ha.. (not really funny cuz it hurts) But yeah, his head hit the tip of my tailbone and broke the tip right off. The Doctor says the tip of it is pretty much just floating around in there.. hmmm... But the worst part is there is nothing they can do for a Broken tailbone, Just takes time to heal. It could be all healed up anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 or 4 months from now. ahahhhh.. It isn't fun. The worst part is sitting. Mostly when i sit in the cars. The seats in the cars must be at a different enough angle that it kills my bum. So I think at this point a car trip to Aberdeen is out of the question. Right after I had him I made a car trip to Aberdeen however I was on pain Killers then so it didn't bother me.

So we did have a challange this week with my work. I was originally supposed to go back to work on April 19th, then I asked my supervisor if i could extend my leave and they approved the extention until May 19th. So all was good. I was really really looking forward to spending the extra time with Brandon here at home and not have him start daycare quite yet. BUT this week I got an e-mail from my Manager saying that work is crazy busy and everyone that is out on a temporary leave has to come back to work on March 13th. Since I technically didn't take a maternity leave, i just took this leave of absense they were offering everyone at the company at the time they technically can call us back whenever they need the help. SO... THAT SUCKS. However, since I did have a baby while I was on this leave, they approved me to use some FMLA (Family Medical Leave of Absense) for an additional 5 weeks if I wanted to.. HOWEVER it would all be unpaid. So we have decided that I would use up my sick time (40 hours) and then I would take and additional week and a half of unpaid time and go back to work on March 31st. I really wish I could stay out longer just because I was expecting to be able to this whole time. However that didn't work out. Now I just need to focus on loosing more weight so I can actually fit into my work uniform.. argg...

I will post some pics here of Brandon. I haven't loaded the newer ones onto the computer yet so I might have to do some later on too.

I think that is all with us for now. Jason is doing good too.. Working hard as usual. He did get checked out on another Sector last week so he now only has one more to finish then he will be a Fully Certified Controller. $$ We can't wait $$ ha ha..

Bye Bye now

One Month Old

So Brandon is One month old today. How exciting. Everyone always says how fast time flys by when you have a little one and man I belive it now. I Can't belive it has been a month already.

Things are going great here. We are finally getting the hang of being parents. We are so excited for Brandon to start smiling and all that fun stuff. So far he has had a couple big smiles but as everyone says 'they were just gas smiles' however, I dont belive it. I think he is smiling at me. He is doing pretty good and keeping his head lifted up when we have him held up to our shoulders. Still has a hard time getting his head up off the floor when we have him on his tummy. But that willcome with time.

I am still quite sore. I have done some reasearch online and found out that if you have an oddly shaped pelvis as I found out in delivery that I do, it is very possible to fractor your tailbone during delivery. I am 99% sure that I have done this. I am in so much pain when I sit down. Mostly in the cars. and getting up from a sitting position puts a lot of pressure on my tailbone and it hurts like heck. Only thing is there isn't anything the docs can do for it. My doctor told me to sit on a cusion (like I hadn't figured that out).. ha ha.. But oh well. I will just keep taking my Ibprofin and hope for it to get better soon.

We had a fun night last night. Our friend Keifer (dani's friend jessies, step brother to be) is going into the Army so we went to a going away party for him last night. Good Luck to him. Then after that we went over to Candy and Jeremys house and visited with Candy and Jeremy, Kristin and Peter and their boys and Candy's friends Angie and Luke and their boy. It was a fun night with all the kids there.

I have me and Brandon's fist playdate this Tuesday. We are going over to my cousin Kristins house.. she has a little boy Sam who is almost 3 and she just had a little boy too.. Charlie who is 3 days older than Brandon. Also my cousin Carley is going over there too with her boy Devon who is 2 and she has a little girl Norah who is about 4 months old now. Not that the little ones will be playing at all but we will have a chance to talk and compare what our babies are doing and all that fun stuff. Plus it will be fun to get out of the house for a couple hours.

Well I better go before Brandon wakes up from his nap. I have 100 more things on my todo list before he gets up again. Talk to you all later.

Brandon's Baptism

So Brandon was Baptised this past weekend at All Saints Catholic Church. It was a very nice service. Brandon was not a fan of getting the water poured over his head but other than that he was great. He also went to his first church service on that same sunday before the Baptism service. He did great in church. Barley made a sqeek.

We then had everyone over to our house for a light lunch after the Baptism. IT was really nice to share this time in Brandons life with our friends and family who were able to make it.

Brandon got some very nice gifts too, a couple crosses, one for the wall and one is on his dresser. He also got his First Piggy Bank. We already filled it with all our spare change.

It turned out to be a great Sunday. After everyone left our house, (it happend to also be superbowl Sunday) so our friends Kelly and Steve came back over and we watched the Superbowl together and Steve and Kelly brought over some of the fish they recently caught and we had a fish fry. It was really good.

That's all for now.

Brandon Paul Sandmeier

Sorry It has taken me a week and a half after he was born to post something.. We have been Busy Busy Busy..

So Brandon Paul Sandmeier was born on 1-21-2010 at 12:06 am. He was 7lbs 5oz at birth and 20 1/4 in. long. He had a rough start into the world but it was all worth it and Everyone is doing great.

We got home from the hosptial on Friday afternoon and have been enjoying out time together while Jason has some time off work. He goes back to work tomorrow. So that will be interesting to see if I can handle all this on my own while he is out at work. I am sure we will be fine.

We had our second Doctors apointment today to make sure Brandon was gaining some weight. We had brought him to the doctor last week, for his first check up and because he was starting to act different. He wouldnt eat, poop or pee. He was very sleepy all the time and we were concerned. So we found out that Brandon was deyhidrated and hadn Jaundice. They brought over a lighted bed and belt for him to wear so that we could use phototherepy to make him all better. We went to the doc today and he is 2oz heavier than his birth weight so all is back to normal now. He is eating much better and Now has no problem in the pooping department. ha ha.

We had our first road trip this last weekend. We headed out to Aberdeen to visit Grandma and Grandpa Sandmeier and Uncle andy and Aunt Lynn. Brandon did great. He showed everyone how he barley ever cries and he is such a good boy.

Now that we are home we have been letting him lay in his crib or on the floor in his boppy pillow all day cuz he was getting held all weekend at the Grandparents. But that's ok. We enojoyed showing him off.

Mommy and Daddy even got to go out on friday night to enjoy a beer (or two) with Uncle Andy. I hadn't had a beer in at least 10 months (probably a bit more) and it was WONDERFUL.. However we only stayed for two beers and since it was the first time we had left Brandon we missed him already. So we headed home. Jerry and Mary were very suprised to see us home before 4 am (which is about when we used to come home when we went out in Aberdeen) Things changed a bit now.

Well Brandon is starting to wake up. It is time for him to eat again.. (seems like it always is) So I better wrap this up. I will post some very cute pics of him next time.. (maybe even later on today, after MY nap time.)

Talk to you all later

Almost to the Finish Line

Well.. the pregnancy race is almost over. I can't wait to cross that finish line and get my little sweet reward!! Baby Brandon. We only have two days left now until our due date. I have a feeling I am gonna go over the due date.. But that's ok..

Our last week Doctor Appt. Went ok.. I had somewhat high blood pressure, nothing too serious, but the Doc said we would watch it this week. If it is still High on this monday's appt he may start thinking about induction. He said they also watch for swelling of the feet and ankles, which mine have been pretty good. And also Protin in the Urine sample.. Which mine had none. So that's good.

His room is all finished and ready to go. I rewashed all his clothes and sheets and everything cuz I got that new baby detergant. So now we are truley ready.

I have been feeling pretty good most days. Going to bed is still the hardest part cuz my hips/pelvis area hurts so bad, i feel like it is crushing in half. And it is pretty much impossible to find a comfortable spot to lay in. I have now been taking tylonol each night before I go to bed, and that seems to be helping me sleep a bit better.

Jason also is doing good. He tells Brandon each day to "COME OUT" but Brandon doesn't listen. (hopefully that isn't how it's always gonna be) ha ha.. Jason is very excited to take two weeks off from work and spend it at home with his precious family. He is doing very good at work as well, He just got checked out in another sector at work. Only two more to go and he will be a fully certified Controller. So that's great news. He was really hoping to get that sector finished before going on a leave. So that task is done.

That's all for now. We'll see If i get around to posting again before Brandon's arrival. I can't wait for it.. I know everyone else is excited too. Talk to you all later.

Getting Closer

So we only have about 2 more weeks until our due date. A little less in fact.. ha ha. We went to the doctor today for our 38 week appointment and I am now dialated to a 2. Still not too much but at least it is some progress, also I am 50% effaced. (not sure how to spell that) The doc is hoping any time now that Brandon will come. (WE ARE TOO) It is getting so so hard to be patient. Especially now since his room is all finished and ready for him.

We have another appointment next monday the 11th. Hopefully we wont have to go to it cuz we will be in the hospital before that.. I think chances are slim to none though. ha ha..

We had a busy weekend once again. My little brother Matt and his wife were in town for new years and a wedding in Sioux Falls and also to spend some christmas time with us here in the cities. So yesterday we had a late christmas at my mom's house and opened some more gifts. Jason got a nice Under Armour shirt, I got a really cool Wrought Iron wall hanging for our bedroom and Brandon even got some stuff.. He got LOTS of stuff as well from all of Jason's family the week before that.. I couldn't belive all the gifts he got, and he isn't even born yet. What a lucky little guy.

Tomorrow I am heading over to my friend Jessie's house. She has a girlfriend with some little boys who have outgrown their clothes and since Jessie is going to be having a girl this second time around, she is handing all the boy clothes off to us. Which is SUPER nice. The clothes are all so cute and in such good shape. So we can't wait to go over and get those, and fill Brandon's Drawers and closet even more. It's gonna take me 45 min each day just to pick his outfit. But that's fine. I am so excited for it.

That's all for now. We thank everyone for all the wonderful Christmas gifts.

Hope everyone had a great new year!
